Magnetic Fluid Sealed Feedthroughs from Alma Driving Elements - Generically Identical to Ferrofluidic® Rotary Feedthrough with additional benefits
ALMA feedthroughs are for the introduction of rotary motion into a vacuum chamber. Magnetic fluids as the sealing substance ensure complete cleanliness in the vacuum application.
The static components inside the feedthrough are hermetically sealed against the rotary components. The typical problems with elastomer O-rings no longer occur.
Products for ultra-high vacuum applications and cooled types are currently fabricated on a customer specific basis. We permanently work on the extension of our product program.
